Foundations In Rural Education

We Are Growing!

STEMM FIRE is excited to announce our partnership with the Science and Mathematics Education Institute at Fort Hays State University!
Funded in part by a grant from the Patterson Family Foundation, STEMM FIRE will now be a program under the newly created RAISE Kansas organization (Rural Alliance Investing in STEMM Education).
With this partnership and grant funding we will be able to reach more students across rural Kansas, develop an "Educonomy" Pilot program to further support rural communities, and work on building support and resources for rural STEMM educators.  We are so excited!  Our new website will be coming soon!

How it works:  Contact us by phone or email.  We will coordinate a convenient date with you and head out to your school with 5-7 different STEMM professionals!  Each person will speak about their career and we will leave time at the end for students to get up, get hands-on with objects from the careers, and get to know the professionals - including setting up mentoring/job shadowing opportunities!  Each talk takes about 75 minutes and student group sizes are flexible.
